《中国乐器总动员》是一套专门向少年儿童介绍中国乐器的知识绘本，共包含四个分册，即《吹响大千世界：中国吹奏乐器》《拉动乐音乾坤：中国拉弦乐器》《弹拨古今华彩：中国弹拨乐器》《击奏华夏篇章：中国打击乐器》，对44种常见或带有鲜明民族特色的中国乐器进行详细讲解。第一分册介绍了笛子、箫、笙、管子、唢呐、巴乌、葫芦丝等10种中国吹奏乐器，第二分册介绍了二胡、京胡、高胡、板胡、马头琴、等10种中国拉弦乐器，第三分册介绍了古琴、古筝、扬琴、箜篌、琵琶、三弦、冬不拉等12种中国弹拨乐器，第四分册介绍了为编钟、锣、碰铃、大鼓、达卜、八角鼓、象脚鼓等12种中国打击乐器。
