百花文艺出版社精品图书亮相2023年法兰克福书展

On October 18, 2023 Frankfurt Book Fair, the world's largest book fair, is to open, with Slovenia as the guest country. Baihua Literature and Art Publishing House will attend and introduce our books to publishers around the world. 百花文艺出版社始建于1958年8月，是新中国较早成立的文艺出版社之一，是获得中宣部、国家新闻出版署表彰的全国优秀出版社，并于2007年荣获中国出版政府奖·先进出版单位奖。

自建社以来，百花文艺出版社陆续出版了茅盾、郭沫若、冰心、叶圣陶、巴金、老舍、孙犁、梁思成、季羡林、冯骥才、蒋子龙、赵本夫等文学文化名家的代表作，形成以散文、小说为特色，覆盖建筑、收藏、传记、曲艺、音乐等多个领域的出版格局，成为中国文学出版的重镇。《海边春秋》《江山如此多娇》《世界家具艺术史》《中国古代雕塑风格论》等多部图书获得国家级重要奖项，收获了读者的广泛认可与市场美誉。

创始于1984年的百花文学奖（两年一届），是国内首个采用读者投票方式评选的文学奖项，已成为读者、作家心目中颇具公信力和影响力的全国性文学大奖。

百花文艺出版社旗下拥有《小说月报》《小说月报·原创版》《微型小说月报》《散文》《散文海外版》《科幻立方》《文学艺术周刊》七种期刊，发行量居全国同类期刊前列，是读者阅读中国当代文学作品最重要最宽阔的媒体平台。

As one of the time-honored publishing houses founded after 1949, Baihua Literature and Art Publishing House was founded in August 1958 and rewarded as "National Excellent Publishing House" by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and General Administration of Press and Publication, which also won the prize of Advanced Publishing House of China Publishing Government Award in 2007.

Ever since the founding, Baihua Literature and Art Publishing House successfully published a series of renowned and representative masterpieces written by the literary masters, such as Mao Dun, Bing Xin, Ba Jin, Lao She, Sun Li, Guo Moruo, Ye Shengtao, Liang Sicheng, Ji Xianlin, Feng Jicai, Jiang Zilong and Zhao Benfu, which formed a publishing pattern covering the fields of architecture, collection, bibliography, music and Chinese folk arts and featured by prose and fiction. As one of the major Chinese literature publishing stronghold, there have been a great many of fine books, such as Career on Lan Island, So Beautiful the country Is, An Artistic History of World Furniture and The Analysis of Chinese Ancient Statue Styles, which have been rewarded by the national level prizes and approved by the readership and market.

Started in 1984 and as a biennial prize, Baihua Literature Award is the first one in China by gathering the votes from the readers, which makes it be the national literature prize possessing great credibility and influence among the readers as well as the authors.

Baihua Literature and Art Publishing House owns seven marvelous magazines, which are Fiction Monthly, Original Fiction Monthly, Minifiction Monthly, Essay Monthly, Essay Overseas Monthly, Science Fiction Cube, Literary and Arts Review. Nowadays, their circulation are topped among the similar-typed magazines, which makes them as one broad and significant media platform for readers to appreciate the contemporary Chinese literature.

为拓展版权签约运营等业务，百花文艺出版社于2016年成立百花影视文学部，并于2022年1月升级更名为版权运营中心，布局文学IP全产业链。目前，已经与全国500多家影视公司建立联系，签约IP作品200多部，成功售出多部作品的影视版权。另外，与国外50多家出版社及版权代理机构建立联系，成功向海外输出20多部文学作品，助力中国文学走出去。百花文艺出版社在“2023年海外馆藏影响力排行”总榜中以32种馆藏图书位列第68名，连续四年入选百强。

In order to grab and deal with more subsidiary rights, Baihua Literature & Art Publishing House set up the Book-to-Film Department in 2016, upgraded and renamed it as the Rights Operation Center in January 2022 to leverage the IP by providing a full service. It partners with over 500 creative agencies in the film and television business in China, representing subsidiary rights for more than 200 titles. Many literary works have been successfully adapted for the screen and for the stage. In addition, it works closely with over 50 foreign publishers and literary agencies. The foreign rights of over 20 books have been sold to multiple countries, boosting the international appeal of Chinese literature. Baihua Literature & Art Publishing House has ranked 68th on the "2023 Influence Ranking of Overseas Library Collection" with 32 book sets, and listed top 100 for four consecutive years.
